IIM Bangalore is inviting applications for Women Startup Program
IIM Bangalore's NSRCEL has been guiding and supporting women entrepreneurs across sectors to grow their business through different programs over the last two decades. Through Programs like MPWE, Women Startup Program and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women, NSRCEL has successfully impacted 15,000 women entrepreneurs across early stage ventures as well as ventures ready to scale up.
It is now looking for Full-Time Women Entrepreneurs who are running a venture and are above 18 years of age to apply for the fully sponsored Women Startup Program. The last date to apply is 21st August 2020. There is no minimum revenue criteria this time.
Selected Entrepreneurs will get benefits from Razorpay, AWS, Google Cloud, Hubspot, Cleartax, Quickbooks and others.
About the Program
The Women Startup Program aims to support ambitious and innovative women entrepreneurs by enabling them to transform their idea into a business venture. The Program is designed to focus on the enhancement of the entrepreneurial and managerial skills of women leading early and ideation stage ventures.
The Program provides business knowledge for the entrepreneurs to build on their idea in the initial stage through Massive Open Online Course. The Program then progresses by offering selected candidates a 2-month virtual Launchpad Program where entrepreneurs will undergo business training to develop their prototype. Finalists are selected to be a part of Incubation at NSRCEL where they will focus on developing their product and scaling up.
Step 1: 5 Weeks Online Course: Early-stage ideas startups will be shortlisted for the first phase. The program will commence with a five-week training through the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to be offered on Swayam platform.
Step 2: Pre-Incubation (2 Months): In the second phase, the selected entrepreneurs will undergo a two-month virtual launchpad program
Step 3: Incubation (6 Months): In the third phase, the entrepreneurs will undergo a six-month incubation programme designed by NSRCEL and its partner institutes. They will then present their product/prototype and pitch to a screening committee.
