Competition Details :

What will you do if database queries were free — free from the hassle of thinking about how to structure data, free from the worry about lag and downtime, and free from the engineering effort of server management?

Introducing developer preview version of Slash GraphQL, Dgraph’s fully managed backend service. To create a flexible, production-ready backend database, all you have to do is define a schema in GraphQL, and our container will handle the rest. Simply spin up an instance, and your database will scale and adapt on the fly. No tables, no database management — just GraphQL. It’s that simple.

GraphQL powerup

We are looking for innovative, polished apps that show off the unique capabilities of developer preview version of Slash GraphQL, especially the more advanced graph features. Ideal apps should be original and appealing to users, whether written as mobile apps, or plugins or bots to popular systems such as Slack or Facebook.

All apps must be built using the developer preview version of Slash GraphQL as their data store. Points will be awarded for apps which are complete, having a clean user interface, and reach the levels of the functionality you’d expect from a completed ‘Minimum Viable Product’.
